In this collaboration project, we were to study the foundation principles of modern and contemporary design through case studies. Various icons of modern and contemporary architecture were studies to learn about the conceptual ideas, formal and spatial principles. Expectations to develop an analysis of the architecture produced in Toronto, from the identification of architectural classification proposed by Kenneth Frampton’s Modern Architecture: A Critical History (1980) was to be studied. These studies were used to create a fanzine (blend of “fan” and “magazine”), a non professional and non-official publication on the topic of ‘expressionism’. This fanzine was created using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
